In 1984, I set out on an adventure to America, seeking a change of weather. Upon settling in California, I wasted no time in connecting with local antique stores, interior designers, and decorators. By 1985, MAYS had evolved into a Transatlantic venture!
In 2003, my father passed away, leaving behind a lasting legacy. My brother took the helm of our family business in the UK, now boasting a team of over twenty, including the next generation of MAYS! Some of my clients had the pleasure of meeting my father during his visits, often collaborating alongside me. I truly miss those days. Thank you, Dad!
The clients I've accrued over the years have remained steadfast, standing with me since the inception of MAYS. I always remember that they are clients, but I cherish and treat them as part of our family. Their trust in us mirrors the trust we've instilled in them.
Our clientele spans a broad spectrum, including notable personalities such as Robert and Kelly Day, Michael and Jane Eisner, Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart, Sting, Lowell and Michael Milken, as well as the Milken Family Foundation, Lee Remick, Rue McClanahan, Bill Keck and the Keck Foundation, Barbara Walton, Larry Ellison, Candy Spelling, and the Granville restaurant chain.
Moreover, our journey has involved collaboration on various projects with the renowned architect Peter Choate. We've had the privilege of restoring several iconic homes by Green and Green and Cliff May.
Your interest means a lot to us. Thank you for reaching out.
